African Village Life

African culture is rich and diverse. Urban areas and cities lean towards our Western Culture, and it is the villages and rural areas that define the traditional culture of dress, marriage, respect for elders and strong social co-hesion.

The beauty of these villages, set in strikingly colourful landscapes, and the traditional lifestyle of their inhabitants is often the envy of us, in the Western world. 

The African Village at Manor House has been constructed using traditional techniques from Africa and Pembrokeshire (and it's surprising how similar they are!). In this zoonique walkthrough, new for 2011, you can wander with pygmy goats, Cameroon sheep, Polish frizzies and Pekin bantams.
