Gibbons are endangered in the wild which is why it is so important for Steve and Lisa to thrive and perhaps eventually raise a family at Manor House Wildlife Park.

We're now in 2010, and Lisa has settled in so well. She's happy, loves the trees, shows affection to Steve and her Keepers. Each morning she's ready at the door, happy to get outside and have fun.

Steve has yet to venture out though. He seems to have settled too well into his spacious new quarters, the views, the space, the facilities have wowed him so much, he doesn't seem to want to get outside. He's content to sit in the open doorway and watch Lisa swinging through the trees. She's still bringing back little love tokens for him. And we're hoping that as soon as the weather warms up a little he'll take that first giant step.
