All our VIP experiences are with a professional zoo-keeper, who works every day with endangered species. This is the closest you can get to endangered animals in natural surroundings, alongside keepers who know them well, understand their needs and have a wonderful rapport with them. 

And your experience makes a difference, because all fees support conservation work.

Available at almost any time - and 363 days a year, at a date to suit you.

Go behind the scenes with your keeper and get up close and personal - you‘ll gain a real insight to what it’s like to work with animals. Bursting with information, our keepers are so good they should be bottled!

Wear sensible clothes though - it can get a bit mucky! Our experienced keepers will make sure you get real hands on experience.

• You'll help preparing meals, then you'll get to feed and touch most of the animals.
• They’re expert and knowledgeable - and ready to answer all your questions.
• Bring your camera with you (in a case),  and expect to have a busy, but fun-filled time.
• To make the most of your visit all Shadow a Keeper sessions must be pre-booked and pre-paid.
