Llama

Llamas are shy yet curious! They have a placid nature and are considered intelligent. Although camels, they have no hump, and narrow feet with two toes which are more widespread than the camel. Used as pack animals for thousands of years, they are still a common site alongside man in South America.

They are hardy, but prefer to shelter from extremes of weather, and like sheep, they need a summer shear.
