Quick Facts
Siamangs get around by swinging through trees, using their hands as hooks. They have no tails.
(they are apes - monkeys have tails - apes don’t)
On the ground, they walk on two legs, often holding their arms above their heads to balance. Gibbons are the only apes to prefer walking on two legs, not all fours.
Siamangs are sociable animals and live in family groups.
