When you visit Steve, take a close look at his bum!

Siamangs do not build nests to sleep in, they have tough horny pads on their buttocks - these serve as a sort of built in mattress,  helping them to get a good night’s sleep!

Siamang are very small (about 125g at birth,  and bald! It takes over two years for a full coat to grow - just like humans they are dependent on adult care for several years.
