| The whole of the Park is accessible by wheelchair and able-bodied pusher. Large flat expanses near the entrance gate. There are some steeper areas lower down, in the walk around the wildlife trail area and approaching The Valley of the Apes, but if you find the pushing hard going in any section and staff are close by, call them over - they'd be only too happy to help. For those with the species of wheelchair with four small wheels, ask for the free hire of a park chair with bigger rear wheels (makes the pushing easier). We offer motorised rides for hire at £10. To reserve a large wheeled chair or book a scooter ring 01646 651201 and ask for Rachel at the gate. |
