Conservation

There are four species of llama and none is threatened. Came, they herd in the high-altitude grasslands of South America - Peru, Argentina, Chile, Columbia, and Bolivia.

Intelligent, they can be easily trained to a halter. At the last count it was estimated that there is a population of about 7 million in South America!
